Speed Dials

There are three types of speed dials available through the NBX 100 Communications System: One-touch, Personal, and System-wide. NetSet can be used to modify your One-touch and Personal Speed Dials. System-wide Speed Dials are set by your administrator and can only be viewed with NetSet.

Telephone and DSS/BLF Label Makers

To create labels for your Business Telephone or DSS/BLF Adjunct, click the appropriate Label Maker button to download a copy of the label template. You need to have the Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.0 or 4.0 installed on your computer to use the template; it is available free of charge from Adobe: www.adobe.com.

To use the label makers:

1. Click the Speed Dials tab and then click either Telephone Label Maker or the DSS/BLF Label Maker button to launch the label maker that you want to use.

2. Edit the label template by clicking any of the text in the labels.

3. Tab to move to the next text field in the label. When finished, click anywhere outside of the labels to ensure that all edits take effect.

4. Print the label template, cut the labels along the dotted line, and then place them in the label holders on the telephone or the DSS/BLF.

Notes on Label Makers:

• Acrobat Reader allows you to print files but not to save changes. To save files you must purchase Adobe Acrobat Exchange.
